I have a family, and we have 3 kids. Add to that friends and pets and extended family, and the argument for a bigger car wins every time. We are an SUV driving family, love us or hate us, it is the only practical option.

I did a lot of research into SUV’s recently because we needed upgrade. And what I found is that there are a lot of really cool cars out there. And pretty modestly priced for what you get. But, the one that was my absolute hands down favorite was the isuzu suv called the ascender.

I am not a car nut, so I am not going to bore you with all the technical stats (I am sure you can get it off their website, linked above, if you really want it..), but I am going to say this.. this SUV is a sweet ride. It has the styling and drive feel of a pick-up, to a certain extent, which adds the “tough” factor I wanted. (Alot of SUV’s are aimed at the “soccer mom” market, and have a “fluffy” type of feel to them.. like they do not have much substance..) This SUV has grunt.
