Clinics, doctor’s offices and hospitals are always in constant need of making sure that they have all of the medical supplies that they need at any given time. This is especially true of hospitals, because at any given time, there can be a sudden surge of emergency patients who may need immediate care. Rendering the appropriate care with medical supplies is often a given, and therefore, the supplies that are in health care facilities will be readily available.

One of the most common form of a medical supply that will be found in an health care environment are latex gloves. Latex gloves are some of the most important means of protection for the patient and the physicians, as they act as a barrier for spreading germs and other communicable diseases. Latex gloves should always be replaced between each patient, as this will stop the spreading of the germs. In addition to this, it is important for hands to be washed prior to the latex gloves being worn, as an extra means of protection. Physicians know the importance of wearing gloves, and the patient needs to know their rights for asking the physicians to wear gloves if they see it fit.
