It started when we were considering going to Hawaii. Surfing around the internet for Maui condos we came across a whole website dedicated to holiday accommodation in Hawaii, all the options. But what we really liked about the website was the Hawaiian travel blog which was not just advertising, which tends to be terribly positive all the time and not necessarily an accurate reflection of reality. We posted a couple of messages talking about what we were looking for, how we had been disappointed on our last visited and how we were hoping to avoid that again, and a couple of people joined the conversation. They were really helpful real people just like us who had been through it all. They gave us some excellent advice and information. For instance, a place we thought was right on the beach turned out not to be as close as we had supposed. They told us about the best two restaurants they had tried. Also they gave us useful tips on what to take along with us, such as games for the odd occasion when you might have to stay indoors, even in the best of seasons. Even now that we have returned from our vacation I still find myself looking at Hawaiian Beach Rentals, planning the next visit.
