You can always just experiment and find which supplier you like best. Some people choose according to how fast a company ships, and of course you want to pay the least amount you have to for the item itself as well as the shipping. Sometimes, it is better to buy some parts from one supplier and others from a different one.

I usually buy parts from the suppliers that have the easiest online catalogs to work with. Directories that are arranged alphabetically make sense since some electronic part numbers begin with Y, while other electronic part numbers begin with C. These are often easy to use directories.

Numerical root directories may or may not be as convenient.
